Biggest let down ever. I am sad, I was hyped. The trailer looked amazing. I dont like the sound, and the sights are too far away, and it is dark as hell. Someone mentioned it looked like a cheap COD. This is true. you have way too many ads on this.

Seeing 18 - strong gore and violence - upped my expectations somewhat, and I felt a bit flat to see only a few holes, and spurts of blood here and there. There are a few body explosions, but nothing different to exploding things in "Stranger Things" recently, which isn't an 18. Anyway, I would suggest you simply watch the trailer, and leave the rest to your imagination. It's okay, maybe 6/10, but your imagination might give you a better experience.
The family in this film just wasn't odd ball enough. There's one slightly off the wall aunt, and a coke addled sister, but otherwise nothing to give the movie what should have ideally been a household full of all sorts of crazy people which, depending on a range of differing odd characteristics, may have served the comedy aspects a little more, and some areas of horror too. Has a supernatural aspect that for me could have been left out, though I suppose it justifies the change to otherwise seemingly normal behaviour, bar a few exceptions. Also a bit odd that the person being hunted, for a game of hide and seek (this is all in the trailer btw) NEEDS to be alive for an organised portion of the proceedings later on, however the family go hunting for her with weapons that would likely lead to them accidentally killing her, rendering a reportedly necessary event to occur later in the movie unlikely, cocking the whole thing up. All the blood in here for the most part stems from botch ups in trying to secure the person hiding, so seems like their approach was a little short sighted.
I would suppose if they were so invested in a particular outcome, they may as well have just played a regular hide and seek game, had a drink to celebrate the end of the game, the person hiding (now found) being rewarded a sedative laced drink to make doing the whole end bit easier for them. This is after all a comedy horror though, so I don't suppose it helps to apply any logic to the proceedings.

You know from the start what will happen. Just a wrong comedy nothing more. The music is good I have to admit, but you could use YouTube for that instead, not worth the time to watch the whole movie. Also except for 1 person everyone was killed by someone else also there is no character development so I couldn't have card less about anyone who died
and the one thing that I really couldn't stand was the goat scream she did right before sunrise hit I had to fast word it was to to to cringe worthy
everyone else was fine but next time you make a movie like this get an actress we like that we can root for I cannot watch this again
also there are only maybe 2 laughs in this movie this is not a comedy its a pile of people who are trying to kill someone and they are really bad at it it does not even deserve the 7 it has.
